How long does delivery take?

All current works are made to order. For the 2026 cohort you can choose between Standard Delivery (approximately 6 months) and Express Delivery (approximately 6 weeks, with a surcharge). 2025 archive pieces are produced on commission alongside the artist's other work — typical lead time is around 6 months. Are the works limited editions?

It varies by piece. Some works are limited editions (numbered with artist's proofs), some are one-of-one objects, and some are open editions. The exact edition is listed on each product page and reflected on the certificate of authenticity.

Do works come signed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Where applicable, works are signed, numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the artist and Project Materia.

Can I commission a custom piece?

Yes. For commissions, scale variations, or bespoke colour and finish, contact our team via the Trade & Wholesale page or speak with a specialist. We'll connect you directly with the artist's studio.

Is shipping included in the price?

Accepted Answer

No. All prices are quoted ex VAT and ex shipping. Shipping is calculated per market and per piece — smaller objects ship via insured courier, furniture and oversized works are crated and handled by specialist art logistics partners. We will quote shipping on request or at the point of invoice.

What about taxes and duties?

All prices are listed ex VAT. EU buyers will be charged VAT where applicable at the point of sale or invoice. EU-registered businesses can be invoiced ex-VAT with a valid VAT ID. For UK, US and rest-of-world, import VAT, duties and customs handling are calculated at destination. For certainty, request a custom quote so we can confirm landed cost in advance.

Can I return a piece?

Made-to-order, limited-edition and commissioned works are non-returnable except in the case of manufacturing defect or transit damage. Full policy on the Shipping & Returns page.

How do I pay?

Card payments are processed securely through Shopify at checkout. For every piece we can also issue an invoice and accept payment by bank transfer — useful for trade buyers, EU-VAT invoicing, split payments on commissioned works, or anyone who prefers not to pay by card. Just request an invoice via the inquiry form on any product page or by contacting us directly.
