All current Project Materia works are made to order. The 2026 cohort offers a choice between Standard and Express delivery; 2025 archive pieces are produced on commission. Shipping is calculated at checkout per market.
Made to order.
Standard / Express options apply to the 2026 cohort only.
Produced to order alongside the artist's other commissioned work. Default lead time for the 2026 cohort.
Prioritised production where possible. Subject to artist availability and material lead time. Express surcharge applies. 2026 cohort only.
All glass works are produced and shipped within approximately 4 weeks.
2025 pieces are produced on commission to the original specification - typical lead time around 6 months. Speak with a specialist for an exact estimate.
Crated, insured, worldwide.
Works by Sophie Dries ship as insured parcels. Pieces by Lea Colombo ship as bulky insured parcels. All other 2026 works are delivered crated as insured freight by default.
The shipping charge shown at checkout for crated works includes standard export packing and the wooden crate. Installation, wall-mounting, on-site handling and special delivery access are not included unless separately quoted.
For pieces above €5,000 we also offer white-glove delivery with placement and unpacking, quoted per market. Speak with a specialist for a personal quote.
By market.
Denmark and EU. Prices on the site include VAT and are adjusted to your local rate at checkout (e.g. 25% in Denmark). EU-registered businesses can be invoiced under reverse charge with a valid VAT ID - VAT is then removed at checkout via the trade flow.
UK, Norway, Switzerland, US, Canada and rest of world. Prices are shown net of VAT. Orders are shipped DAP (Delivered at Place): the checkout total covers the product and outbound shipping only. Destination import duties, import VAT, brokerage and any local carrier handling fees are paid by the customer to the carrier or customs authority on arrival.
Remote territories outside our standard zones are available by quote. Please contact us with the destination and we will confirm shipping and any duty exposure.
For DAP shipments.
For DAP shipments the customer is the importer of record and is responsible for providing any documents or identification required by the carrier or customs authority in the destination country.
If a shipment is delayed, returned or abandoned because import duties, taxes, documentation or carrier requests are not completed by the customer, Project Materia is not responsible for those costs. Any return, storage, reshipment or administrative charges may be deducted from the refund or invoiced separately.
Collectible-design terms.
All current works are made to order. Made-to-order, limited-edition and commissioned pieces are non-returnable except in the case of manufacturing defect or transit damage - please notify us within 7 days of receipt with photographs.
Damaged or defective pieces are replaced or refunded in full, including return shipping. For any other return, return shipping and any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage or re-export costs are the customer's responsibility.
Who you buy from.
Project Materia is the name of the curatorial project and exhibition program, founded and operated by Tableau CPH and Edition Solenne. It is not the manufacturer or seller of any object.
The legal seller for each piece is Tableau CPH, Edition Solenne, or the individual artist's studio - as identified on the invoice and order confirmation for that specific purchase. The applicable seller's name, address, VAT number and terms appear on the invoice issued to you.
