Forever Studio.

Forever Studio is a Rotterdam-based multidisciplinary design studio founded in 2015 by Bienke Domenie and Sara Degenaar. The studio works at the intersection of autonomous design, commercial design and spatial design, with a strong focus on material experimentation, research, one-of-a-kind objects and interior atmospheres.

Domenie and Degenaar graduated from the Lifestyle Transformation Design programme at Willem de Kooning Academy in 2015 and formed the studio shortly afterwards. The studio describes itself as concept-based and driven by research, new developments and experiments, continually searching for unexpected connections between art, design and everyday aesthetics.

Forever Studio is represented by Vasto Gallery in Barcelona and has been profiled for its experimental material language, especially its use of resin, aluminium, polished stainless steel and reclaimed production remnants. Its work often foregrounds the process behind the object, collaborating with local industry and artisans while transforming industrial or leftover material into atmospheric pieces made by special order.

For Project Materia, Forever Studio brings a research-led and sustainability-conscious approach to material culture. Its output is less about standardised product lines and more about the transformation of matter into spatial, collectible and emotionally charged forms.
