Forever Studio on Patos.
Wide stools, sold as a set of three or as individual pieces.
Forever Studio is a Rotterdam-based multidisciplinary studio founded in 2015 by Bienke Domenie and Sara Degenaar. The practice is research-driven, with a strong focus on material experimentation - resin, aluminium, polished stainless steel and reclaimed production remnants - and an established habit of transforming leftover material into atmospheric, one-of-a-kind pieces. The studio is represented by Vasto Gallery in Barcelona.
For Project Materia 2026 the studio contributes Patos - a series of wide stools made in Matek, offered as a set of three or as individual pieces.
In the artist's words
Patos comes from the name of the tree we used as a reference for the pattern, and means "wide" as well - because the tree is wide, and so are the stools.
The piece is offered as a complete set of three or as individual stools, allowing each composition to find its own rhythm in a space.
The piece
Medium: Matek™ · Dimensions: L50 × W60 × H48,5 cm (each stool)
Patos extends the studio's interest in objects whose surface and silhouette carry the trace of their origin. Each stool reads as its own piece; together, the set composes a small environment.
